    Feeling defeated.

Don't listen to negative people. Do what is right for you! Take this time to prepare yourself mentally and if you feel in your heart that you are ready for the change then just do it! The only thing I regret is not doing sooner. Good luck to you.

I checked at Walmart and I was not able to find it there. The only place I found it was at 7-11 and it's like $2.69 for one. If you find it cheaper at another store let me know.

I was craving a slurpee so I stopped at 7-eleven to buy a small one, but to my disappointment they did not had any sugar free. However I found this drink that I actually liked and calories are really low plus 7 grams of protein and 0 on sugars and carbs! Thought I should share it.

I would like to start posting more on the food I eat now at 9 months out. This is what I had yesterday: 5:10am 1/2 banana and 1 tablespoon Peanut Butter 6:30am coffee with Splenda and fair life milk (this is the reason I couldn't keep dr Weiner diet) I really need my coffee and it needs to be with Splenda and milk. 9:00 3 egg whites with turkey sausage, veggies, and cheese 11:30am premier chocolate Protein shake and 1 cup of veggies 2:00pm coffee again and nuts 5:30pm 1 cup of fage Greek yogurt 0% with a crystal light packet. 7:00pm watermelon and some more nuts I haven't been tracking my food in my fitness pal! I guess I need to. My weight is still at 169-170. I bumped up my exercise a lot more this past week and have every intention on keeping up with exercise. What I found out that is much easier if I do the exercise in the morning - get it out if the way as early as possible . So far within the past 8 days I have done 4 boot camp classes and one Zumba and walked on the treadmill 2 times for 45min. I hope I start seeing the scale move, however I will be happy as long as I feel good and see that my clothes fit better! Hope everyone have a great day!

Super easy and delish: chipotle eggs!

I just made the eggs and they were delicious! I had a whole egg and another one the egg white only. I did add little more chipotle sauce. Thanks again for the recipe. I love eggs and could eat them ant time of the day.

For sure it helped that my daughter signed up for the class cause I know if she wasn't going with me there was no way I would have got up at 5am to do exercise. It's a plus to get an exercise buddy for sure!

We made it thru boot camp! But holy cow it was really hard!! I set my alarm at 5am and it was hard to get up but I'm really glad we did it. I liked the instructor it's more like a mini personal trainer since the group is really small. I'm going to Zumba tomorrow afternoon and then Thursday boot camp.

You are doing awesome! Looking really good.[emoji1]. Look at that waist. I understand about going to 150 lbs. that's where I would like to be at also. Well my daughter and I start boot camp classes tomorrow at 5:30 am. We went and sign up today. I liked the location is just about 5 minutes away from my house. We paid for 6 weeks - three times a week and 2 days of Zumba classes! I'm excited will see how it goes. I will keep you guys posted.

    Fruits, veggies and fibre

Not sure how far you are from surgery, but what has worked for me since 2 months after surgery has been the ground flax seed 2 tablespoons with one glass of Water every night before going to bed. I'm actually drinking it right know.

Walmart have them in the Latin foods isle. I usually use them when I make shrimp with the chipotle sauce

I do notice it's easier for carbs to come back in our diet... A piece here and a piece there, but just have to be alert on the food choices we do. 25 lbs to goal is awesome were very close I'm about 20 lbs. I could fit in size 10 jeans and actually just the other day I bought a size 8 skinny jeans and to my surprise they fit!! We went to a birthday party and wore them, it felt really good!! Never in my wildest dream I ever thought I would use a size 10 or 8 jeans. I'm so happy with the results.

This past weekend was really rough. I ate things I wasn't supposed to - I had tamales and chips. I gained 2 lbs. I'm going back to basics for the next two weeks. I will have eggs with veggies in the morning and the a premier protein shake for lunch and dinner. If I get hungry in between I will eat some veggies. Yesterday was my first day and it wasn't that bad.

Hi lorri, I been good I been stuck at 173 and 174 lbs. eating healthy for the most part. Although some days I do eat stuff I shouldnt probably my progress would have been better. But the way I see it is I have to eat to learn the way I could do it for life and not gain the weight. I have a follow up appt this coming Monday and I will show the nutritionist what I been eating and see what she says or suggest. Glad to hear your scale is moving also.

Hope everyone is well! Today is my 2 weeks on the A Pound of Cure and I been eating the way it says in the book. My update on weight today is 175.6 lbs its was a lot less then last week loss but I'm very happy with the results. I went down to size 12 in jeans and I could fit in size medium blouses. After this two weeks, I will keep eating the same way. There has been some days that I ate something that I wasn't supposed to like today I ate pecans that are caramelized with cinnamon, I know those have a lot sugar, but hey it's not easy to be perfect on the eating plan. I don't miss the coffee anymore or my Greek yogurt. Just came from buying groceries and most of the food is veggies and fruits and of course my eggs and some meats. I'm going to stay away the raw nuts cause I still can't control that so I'm just thinking to cut them out completely. Hope everyone's week is great!
