My dr told me to start taking my regular vitamins (no more chewables). However every time I take the multivitamin, I almost instantly start feeling nauseated. I get the hot face, the watering mouth, tight throat. Within 5 minutes I'm having terrible diarrhea. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas as to why I'm feeling this way?

I've often wondered if it's the vitamins giving me diarrhea too as I also have had it since I started taking them pre op...

I'm still pre-op and my multi vitamin makes me sick! If I take it on an empty stomach I feel AWFUL about 15 minutes later. I've started taking it at night after I've eaten and it works out better for me. My chewables give me no problems at all

The chewables taste awful and are the size of four quarters stacked. But they didn't upset my stomach. I guess I'm gonna be switching back to them until I hear from my surgeon.

Another thing to consider each multivitamin has a different make up. Sometimes the different make up will not give you the nauseated feeling. Maybe you could try a different brand...you know the Costco brand versus the vitamin store brand versus blah blah blah blah
