Dry Mouth

I am 3 months out from my surgery and wake up with dry mouth daily. It feels like the heater has been blaring all night long. Anyone else dealing with chronic dry mouth in the mornings? If so, have you discovered anything that helps?

Thanks,

Garry

  • Biotine helps. My extreme dry mouth lasted about a month. Spry mints helped too throughout the night. It will get better. ????

  • Act makes a dry mouth rinse that works well, too.

@@gdub23 - I drink water throughout the night, if I wake up (I drink), that's the only thing I know to do besides hydrate as much as possible until about 6 and then sip, sip, sip. That way I am NOT waking up because I have "to go".

Yeah, I really do need to work on my hydration. I just need to keep a Water in my hand at all times. The day gets away from me and I often forget to sip water. I am only get 48 - 64 ounces a day, but I really need a lot more.

Protein shakes give me awful dry mouth and bad breath.
