Should I be starving on my clear liquid diet or am I not drinking enough?

My surgeon out me on a 7 day diet.

I don't recall being particularly hungry when I was in clear liquids, but, I was sipping my something all the time in order to get in all of my protein and fluids, so really didn't have the chance to feel hungry.

I am not taking a PPI..I'm not even sure what it is lol

I tried chicken and beef broth and the smell alone makes my stomach queezy

Talk to your surgeon. I was given a prescription for one right after surgery.

I was hungry for the first few days! It did ease up a bit after a while

Yeah, this is literally the first day and my stomach is all growling at work lol how long was clear liquid diet?

Based on the fact you said you are at work I think it is safe to say you have not had your surgery yet? This the preop diet before surgery you are speaking of? Correct? I have a 1 day clear liquid diet before surgery. Sorry I can't help you but maybe others will be able to.
