How long after surgery were you comfortable/allowed to drive again?

I'm a week since my sleeve I drove perfectly fine yesterday and today just no pain meds and you should be fine good luck

I drove 3-4 days post op. No problems . Obviously I wasn't on meds lol.

I drove the day after I was sent home from the hospital.

I drove as soon as I was off pain Meds. I wouldn't drive under the influence

Thank you for this thread! I had no idea how long it might take and it is helpful in planning my post-op responsibilities.

I had a surgery on Tuesday and drove back to college on Saturday. I kept a pillow over my sorest incision and had it tucked in my seat belt for bumps or anything. It helped a lot.

I was allowed the day after I was sent home as long as I didn't use any of the medication- which I didnt.

I was told no driving for two weeks! Luckily where I live the public transport is great and there is a lot in walking distance. I only use my car once a week anyway.
