I really struggled with this. It felt like I deprived myself of food from the pre-surgery diet and the fluid stages, by the time I could have real food it was all I could think about. I'm 7 weeks out

Hey everyone. I am two weeks out today and lost almost 15 lbs the first week. I'm up 1 lb this week which from what I've heard is normal. I'm starting Purée and the new tummy seems to be handling it okay. But I still have this horrible "Head Hunger". I think about food and want to eat almost all the time and it's hard to distinguish when I'm really hungry and when it's just in my head. I have a husband who is thin and eats a lot of junk food so it's around the house. I'm more into savory and not sweets. I've thought of trying out Overeaters Anonymous but there are no convienient times or places. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to deal with the head hunger and cravings for food we aren't supposed to eat? I really want my pouch to work and do my best. Love to all.
