October 26, 201510 yr Any suggestions on something salty or crunchy to eat with guacamole? I love the stuff, but I haven't made any because I associate it so strongly with tortilla chips. Hmmm... Maybe toasted turkey pepperoni "chips?" Or homemade cheese crisps? But dang, that's getting up there for fat content. Bonus points for thinking of something that could get me enough Protein to call it a meal! ~*~ Find me on YouTube: Trisha's Sleeve Story ~*~

Experiment. I haven't tried it but maybe you could eat it with eggs or something else.

October 26, 201510 yr I eat mine with red pepper strips for crunch with a few tortilla chips thrown in because I can.I usually make a seven layer "dip" of meat, cheese, guac, sour cream, onions, salsa and Beans. My kids put that inside a burrito or eat it with chips, I just eat it as is with a spoon.
October 26, 201510 yr Here is what I use for a typical batch of guacamole: 4 Haas avocados, cilantro, juice of 3 limes squeezed with pulp, 2 jalapeños (frenched & diced....no seeds or pith), 2 tomatoes, 1 sweet onion. Dice it all up and CAREFULLY add sea salt to taste. It can be ruined if overly salty. Edited October 26, 201510 yr by Dub

They are great with other dips too and add protein!
