Pumpkin Flavored Foods/Drinks

Has anyone found a "safe", somewhat healthy pumpkin food or drink of any kind? I'm almost 2 months out (as of this Thursday) and love the taste of pumpkin. :)

This will get you started...she has many more! I'm sure if you do a search for "pumpkin" on her website, you'll get a plethora of ideas.

Your wish is granted! Though, they use the new "soluble corn fibler" formula, which makes me SUPER gassy. So I don't think I'll be trying them.

I was just about to post a link to the new Quest Pumpkin bars but you beat me to it!

"We're excited to announce the next step in the evolution of Quest Bars! Just like S’mores and Mint chocolate Chunk, all 18 flavors will now be made with soluble corn Fiber. This ingredient upgrade means all Quest Bars will stay softer longer and withstand heat better (and they bake unbelievably well). It’s the best bar experience yet!"

You should let them know that soluble corn fiber doesn't agree with you! They won't change things unless they receive customer feedback.

Say WHAT?????

OMG week made!

I did fill out their contact form and let them know the issues I was having. I wouldn't expect them to change back anytime soon, since they just underwent this huge overhaul. But I figured it would be good to let them know that it is causing problems for some of us at least. I genuinely hope that not many other BariatricPal members experience the same digestive issues I had with the new ingredient, because I know there are a LOT of other Quest Bar lovers on this site. This site is how I found out about Quest Bars in the first place!

Just have to say.... SOOOOO GOOOD!!! post-194772-14435549953066_thumb.jpg

And the protein powder recommended up thread? AMAZING

Well... My d-I-law just made those 2 ingredient brownies. Just a mix and small can of pumpkin. No oil, no egg.

Pumpkin flavor and very low fat. Mix has sugar and flour.

I don't think I would make them.

But they were pumpkin flavored and chocolatey dense and would work for low fat eaters...

If the food isn't what I really want, I try not to waste calories on it.????
