Hello! I'm a week out went in and he told me I'm not doing enough protein. What happens if your not getting protein in?

Say goodbye to your hair.....get it in, no matter what. A minimum of 60g per day. And spread it out throughout the day, I understand the body can only digest about 20g of protein in an hour, so I've been told. Good luck to you!

@@mshenry11, are you drinking Protein drinks? It's still hard for me to get in enough actual meats for Protein. I don't really care for the protein drinks but at about 30g of protein they do help. I know you can start having hair loss, not sure of what else happens.

Wow, you should be able to get more than that in if you used an eye-dropper. Have you talked to your surgeon?

I am 3 weeks out and am still having a hard time getting in 60.

I am managing about 50 though.

Without Protein, the human body cannot function normally. You need to talk with your nutritionist about this. You need to find a way to get in your protein. (fluids also...actually fluids moreso)
