Just got the my date today, Sept. 21st - I'm excited and nervous all at once! Having a date makes this whole journey so real. Up to now I was just following instructions and now it like... WOW, this really is happening NOW! :D

I go all liquid tomorrow surgery is so close my mind is flipping out a little

When is your surgery?

Hi everyone,

I am scheduled for surgery on 9/18/2015 in Tallahassee Florida. Anyone in my area let me hear from you.

Susan

day 4 of liver shrinking. Going pretty well. the only issue is i have real difficulty bringing myself to consume (eating is a bit of a stretch) all three Protein shakes. my plan is this

Breakfast shake

Midmorning snack Fruit

lunch Shake

Mid afternoon Unsweetened fat free natural yoghurt (i call it joy-free yoghurt)

dinner (I'm all about dinner lately) is lean protein, 50 grams of carb 150 grams of veggies and 150 grams of salad greens.

Evening snack is another flaming shake.

All washed down with two whole litres of Water

the only thing i am having issue with is the third shake. I can't bring myself to eat it and lose the memory of the nice dinner i had as my most recent meal.

How is everybody else doing with their protein supplementing? Is it doing things for you or does it have a long "whey to go"???

Des x

Friday the 18th
Good Luck! That is my last ofc. visit w/my surgeon.

I'm September 21st as well! Have to be at the hospital at 7:30, surgery @ 9:30. overnight stay. I'm very excited! Went to the store today and got all my foods and Vitamins for the first two weeks post-op. It is definitely becoming real!

Image how was the surgery? How are you doing now? I'm having my sleeve surgery in September 24th and would love to hear all about it.:)

Desmond I have been doing liver shrink diet for almost one week. I am doing well on it. I have lost 13 pounds and feel great!I am ok with the shakes.

I am so glad it is finally done. It has been a long time coming, but things moved quickly once I finally decided this is what needed to be done. I am still sore (had the sleeve and hernia repair ), and have yet to sleep in my own bed (I've been in the recliner) but I feel a little bit better every day. I started at 330, was 300 on my surgery date and have lost 7 pounds since surgery. I have had no complications.

Thanks for asking. I know you will all do great and we will all be each others biggest supporters.

So glad to hear you are doing well @imag.

Congrats on starting your new life!
