Hi Des! I'm sorry you have had that terrible flu! Wishing you a speedy recovery. My weight loss has definately slowed down too. I can eat more now so I do have to be careful what I put in my mouth now. I am not yet under 200 pounds but only a few pounds away now. Take good care of yourself Des. Nice to hear from you!????

    2 Weeks Out!

Congrats on 2 weeks pos-op! For my puréed phase I ate cottage cheese. Greek yogurt. Cream soups with unflavoured protein powder. Sugar free pudding with unflavoured protein. Beans once in awhile too,
  4. I had a very easy recovery. No pain or complications. Sip sip sip is right. It will seem like you are constantly drinking at first. Either water or protein drinks. But it gets better for sure. Best of luck on your journeys!
  5. Hello Amberbo. I am from Edmonton and was not able to find a payment plan for Canadians . I am thrilled with my surgery. I had mini gastric bypass on september 24 2015 and am down 71 pounds. Over halfway to goal. I have no regrets at all. I used a different company called Beliteweight. I wish I would hve done this year's ago!

    Great news Des! Me too!
  7. Hello! I had MGB Sepember 24, 2015. My start weight was 277. Today's weight 209. Getting close to onederland! I had my surgery in Mexico and I did self pay. I do not "dump", but do get a bit of ill feeling if I eat too much sugar or carbs. I do not do this often at all, just sharing my experience. I am loving my new life and my only regret is that I did not do this years ago!

I live in Alberta Canada. And usually the 2 winter months aren't too hard on this gal. Until this year. I have been so cold this winter. Hubby and I are flying to Roatan Honduras today to go do some scuba diving. Can't wait to see how much better I will fit in the seats!

I'm losing hair now too. It's not major. But I see it on my pillow in the morning and on my towel after showering. I have very thin hair to start with so this concerns me. I had my surgery September 24. So right at 3 month mark I noticed it ????

I have been doing good. I can tolerate all foods so far. I am down 60 pounds in total. I feel great and wish I would have done this year's ago! The surgery has definately helped me curb my old eating habits. I have had a couple of sweets. But I have them and move on getting right back on my eating plan. Life is great!

Lol! I bought lots of tubs of protein powders too. I do love the pre made premier protein ones. But the powder ones have become very hard to get down!????

Hello Desmond. I had no hunger after surgery for longest time either. I don't really feel hunger at all anymore. ..it's a different feeling. I do remember it seemed I was always sipping water and drinking protein in the first few weeks post op. It is like a full time job at first. It's not like that anymore. Glad to hear from you!
