Protein

Hey all,

Can you all tell me how you are getting in your Protein. Now that you are on solid foods?

I am a month post op and I can not even finish a yogurt. I eat oatmeal as well but can only eat 2 or 3 spoons as well as not finishing a whole egg.

Any recommendations

My doctor told me that I would still need to consume one protein shake a day once I got onto real food, for the reasons you have stated - you just can't eat enough to get in all your protein.

while i'm still on purees but you you could just mush it less but i seem to be living on blended chicken with veg soup

I love unflavored unjury power with milk it is awesome. I'm 8 days post op gastric bypass I'm able to have soft proteins which is great!! But I love the unflavored unjury powder with milk it's how I'm able to get some protein in. It's weird I cannot tolerate sweets of any kind even stevia , Splenda, equal, etc
