How much weight lose pre to post?

I had my surgery 5 days ago and it's the first time I've weighed myself since a week before the surgery and I've lost 13 pounds.

This was achieved in 3 weeks, is it a normal weight lose? How much did you loose?

Hi there, congratulations on your surgery and your weight loss so far. I can't remember what I lost at this time but I remember realizing that every pound down was, for the first time, a pound I'd never see again. You are doing beautifully!

Hi, vancity. I had my band put in last Thursday and with the pre-op diet, I am down 16 lbs. I have stayed the same the past 3 days. Sounds similar to your experience. Good luck!!!

I'm 5weeks out and lost 16lbs. This was the first week I didn't lose anything which was discouraging but hopefully it will pick up again next week. I haven't had a fill yet either
