I eat Mexican food all the time. I started with refried beans in the soft phase. I know some folks have had tortilla soup broth during the liquid phase. Just focus on protein first (eat the insides of a taco, etc).

whenever you feel like it! lol, as soon as you can tolerate it. I only eat part of the shell...kinda like eating the taco upside down.

lol - I eat tacos all the time, I use the low carb soft tortilla with 93/7 lean meat. I also make taco salad all the time. 2-3 oz of meat. lettuce, cheese, pico di gallo, and 2 tortilla chips, sometimes olives and avocado, its deliz/

I make the taco meat and put that with shredded cheese and tomato on lettuce.

Eat taco meat with cheese chips. It takes care of the crunch you need. I love them!

Omg I had a dream last night I was eating a chicken fajita taco with lime and cilantro! I'm just day 6 out of bypass and still on the liquid phase. Is it wrong to just enjoy the smell of food?

No, it's not wrong! I think we all love the smell and taste of food!! We just know we cannot have certain foods or we will be right back from where we started!
