Pain around lower left shoulder blade?

Hi I am 1 week out post op (june 8th) and have been having a bad pain around my lower left shoulder blade and slight mild pain in my left chest like if you could drive a stake right through, it would line up :) I was having this early post op but the meds took care of it, now it won't go away even with meds. Has anyone experienced this?

Yep! It's gas! I had it for about a week after surgery. It was very painful to the point where I started crying! Only way to get it out of your body is to walk, walk, walk! Trust me!

Feel better soon! ????

Could be a leak. .

Sounds like the gas bubble I had. Stayed there for a few weeks then moved into my shoulder/neck area. Walk it out.

My shoulder pain in my left one was extreme. Hurt more than any part of surgery. It was gas. Gas-x strip are worth a try. It went away for me by day 9. Dr said I she would have wanted me to call after day 10... so I guess it worked out well. Rest of recovery was pretty smooth.

Hope you feel better soon! If you really are worried don't hesitate to call the Dr

Thank you all for your responses! I am sorry for not responding earlier as I had issues trying to figure out how to reply on my phone. I already had my gallbladder out several years ago right after one of my yoyo crash diets. It was gas, thank you so much for helping me! It truly made me less anxious that everything was normal. Hope you all are doing well!
