  1. Yep! I'm two months and have already lost a cup... Ugh! C to B
  2. Unfortunately I can't stand diet drinks or "zero sugar" drinks so I am forced to stick with water

  4. They have 7g of protein but are these considered slider foods? Would you recommend them?
  5. I developed that during week 1. Very painful. I noticed that when I slept on my tummy, I was able to burp some of the gas out.... Not sure if that helps. Keep walking though
  6. My doctor said that left shoulder pain indicates trapped gas. Keep walking around!
  7. Oh by the way, I'm 7 weeks post op
  8. Okay, is it possible that our metabolism can change after surgery? I seem to be going to the restroom almost every day! I'm not complaining but damn! I'd be so happy if it was possible for our metabolism to change!
  9. Oh my!! I definitely had them!!! Though I would wake up depressed, thinking I actually messed up my diet! I've had pizza dreams and soda ..... Thank goodness it was just a dream Good thing about these dreams is that when I was having them, I knew what I was doing was bad..... So this tells me that even when I'm unconscious, I feel bad about eating unhealthy food! Yay!

  11. Yep! I have it daily so I take Zantac daily. Best thing ever! Controls all the acid reflux pain!
  12. I have been taking Zantac for a month and it has done WONDERS! Yay, no more heartburn/acid reflux!! However, last week I found that HEB is also selling their own version of Zantac (same active ingredients) wayyyy cheaper! Zantac is priced $9 for 24 capsules while the HEB Brand sells for $6 for 130 capsules. I'm wondering if anyone has tried them so far? I've been on them for about a week and feels just like Zantac, except that I'm burping the pill for about a couple of hours (gross).

  14. Don't wait too long! I would say after the 5th day if you're not going....
  15. Same thing happened to me! Called my doctor and he told me that I was so dehydrated, that my body was sending mix signals and that's why my stomach was growling. I immediately doubled my fluid intake and the growling and hunger pangs went away.

  17. I'm only 6 weeks post op so I haven't lost any hair (but I know it's coming.... Ugh). My sister did the surgery last October and started losing her hair 3 months post op..... And let me tell you, she lost A lot of hair... However, once she hit 6 mo the, her hair started growing again and now it's super thick!!

  20. I know that our scars heal quickly, but I'm talking about our inside wounds .... I'm back at work (5 weeks post op) and I still feel slight discomfort when working. When will it feel normal to bend down, exercise, and feel normal on our insides?
  21. A wonton wrapper is made of bleached flour..... I would say maybe drink the broth but no wontons :-/
