My surgery is exactly 4 weeks away (YAY)! I'm wondering if I'll be able to take a shower. I don't expect that I'll be able to take a bath until my incisions have healed, but hopefully I'll be able to shower.

I had a shower at the hospital the day after surgery, so yes you will be able to shower.

Yep. Took a shower the next day. Incisions were covered in superglue or something like that.

I showered next day in the hospital. Got ok for tub bath at 2 weeks after surgeon looked at healing. Told me to wait one more week before swimming.

I was told no immersion in water or scrubbing the incision area until the incisions were healed but that showering was fine.

My Dr. said i can shower in the hospital the day after surgery.

I was able to shower the same day.

I was able to take a shower on day. No bath though for like 6 weeks
