Miralax doesn't work for me either. At a month out you should be cleared to use Ex-lax. I didn't have any issues after my sleeve surgery but after all three of my plastics procedures I was a bit stopped up, so to speak. Ex-lax fixed the problem in about 6 hours, while Miralax and Dulcolax didn't do jack.

Try Philips Milk of Magnesia should work in a few hours.

Try aloe vera juice. You can find it in the laxative section at Walmart. I drink 4 ounces every other evening or so to stay regular.

My surgical team recommends Milk of Magnesia + Senokot for constipation. I have rarely needed it, but when I have Milk of Magnesia works like a charm for me.

Non-drug things that may help you along: prunes, black coffee, all bran cereal, exercise.

Miralax didn't work for me at that point either. I use Milk of magnesia a couple of times a week now to keep things moving, plus some miralax in the "off days" to keep things going. You will find the combination which works for you.
