June Sleevers!

  • Popular Post

I am so excited that my insurance approved me and I'm set for June 11th. However I'm freaking out a little bit because now it's like HOLY CRAP it's REALLY HAPPENING!

Any other June Sleevers around? Any words of encouragement or advice?

Hi guys!

Surgery date 6/21/15

Highest weight: 190 lbs

Current weight: 150 lbs

I am so happy! I have so much more confidence. Ill have my blood work next week and I'm excited to see if my cholesterol has gone down. I still struggle with my fluids and protein intake, but I'm working on it.

Just an update...I'm down 80 pounds since surgery date June 8...it is hard to believe!!

Doing well, not really looking forward to cold/flu season ( I'm a teacher) as I can't just "take" meds.

Starting weight: 233

Current weight: 153

Thanks for all the support June sleevers!

Hello all, I've been doing ok, Dr is happy with progress.

HW 307 4/1/15

SW 289 6/1/15

Last weight check 225 10/1/15

So, I'm 60% down from goal at 4 months. I would like to be goal by Christmas. Loss has slowed considerably, had a unrelated surgery, a month out and was just able to really excersise this past 3 weeks (that's when loss slowed). Anyone else loose less the more they do? Do I need more calories/protein? I get 60 to 70 a day.

Crazy

You look great! I always love seeing before and after pics and celebrating with you guys.

I was sleeved 6/20 sw 333, cw 271.

Here are my pictures. First picture May 19- 255, second picture 200.4

My current weight is 197.6- I hit onerland!!post-255575-1444917541806_thumb.jpgpost-255575-14449175584197_thumb.jpg

Here it is 310lbs start weight to 210 in 3 months( on the 29th) Lots of walking and alot of meat protein. Thank God for my sleeve, it saved my life. No more sleep apnea, no more high blood pressure, no more diabetes.

Sleeve the same day, down 121. I an also worried about cod season as I am also a teacher. I have been taking my vitamins with oj, but hard to do. Everything but water is either salty or super sweet. I just bought a can of lysol and hand sanitizer! Good luck!

Sleeved the same day, down 121. I just eat my protein, and stick to under 20gtams of carbs a day. Usually under 10 grams. I also get allot of water every day. I'm a teacher, so walking is a given, but haven't done any other exercise.

Checking in at 11 months post surgery. I'm down 90 pounds and have dropped from size 20 to size 10. Mostly I'm grateful to be able to move easily between desks in the classroom, to have energy all day long, and to feel comfortable in my own skin. I can bend down and pull weeds in the garden. Imagine that! I don't love the attention my new shape attracts. I know that people feel the need to say something, but I'm completely over the "You look great" and "What's your secret?" Especially from people who have never struggled with morbid obesity in their lives. Anyway, I feel great. How are you folks doing?

I am down 98 pounds, and am struggling to get to 100 by my check up on June 16. I went from a size 24/22 to a size 10 and I actually went and bought a couple of pairs of shorts this weekend. I haven't worn shorts in 25 years!!!!

My date is June 9th. I'm too busy with the end of the school year stuff to think much about it.

I'm June 8th, and just like you I've been to busy stressing with school to stress about the surgery lol. I'm excited though [emoji4]
