Air!

Hi everyone. I'm new here and am hoping for some advice.

I'm 3 days post-op and am having pain which I believe is caused by air not being released. I'm dying to burp but I just can't! Any suggestions?

I haven't noticed any weight loss yet, hoping that's from still being a tad swollen. I don't expect it to just fall off, but can't wait to see the scale go down. :)

Anyways, looking forward to taking this journey with you all and thanks for any tips.

Walk as much as you can, stretch your arms above your head, windmill your arms. Use a heated pad to give comfort to the painful areas assuming they are not by the incisions!

And keep off the scales! Many people lose nothing for weeks post-op!

Have you tried the Gas-x chewable or strips? Maybe those would help
