Looking to get honest input on pain after surgery. I'm 4 days post-op and have to go back to work tomorrow. Just wondering how long each of you had pain for after getting the LAP BAND placed. I also had a hernia repaired. TIA!

Hi everyone. I'm new here and am hoping for some advice. I'm 3 days post-op and am having pain which I believe is caused by air not being released. I'm dying to burp but I just can't! Any suggestions? I haven't noticed any weight loss yet, hoping that's from still being a tad swollen. I don't expect it to just fall off, but can't wait to see the scale go down. Anyways, looking forward to taking this journey with you all and thanks for any tips. A

I wish I was only a little sore. I think the stitching of the hernia was worse than the placement of the band.

I've tried the gas x, that helps but still feel like I have to burp. :-\ Thank you both!

As you should be Carrie! A pound is a pound! Be proud! Follow the diet and get your fills and it should stay off, that's what I'm planning to do. Congrats!
