Ok so I had some tuna. Tasted great had about 3 ounces im almost 3 weeks out. Felt full so I stopped. Then followed slight nausea feeling. Then I dont know how else to say it but I blew up the bathroom with bowl movements more then I have since surgery. Not sure what happened. But im terrified of tuna lmao

Tuna filled me up very quickly when I went to solids. Ended up sliming more than once after eating it.

I've never had foods that caused me nausea or diarrhea though.

However, if something doesn't agree with you, come back to it a few months later. Most people's tolerance increases over time.

Good luck!

My first disaster was steamed cauliflower.

Been there done that...........still haven't tried tuna since. I am almost 5 months out.

May try again at 6 months...............but not going through that again. :)

Tuna has been the first and only food I got sick on! It tasted really good and stayed down fine at first. Then I got really nauseated and up it came!

I had my first experience with ground beef tonite. I had my first vomiting experience tonite. I find ground turkey to be very easy on my stomach... It seems ground beef definitely isn't. Won't try that again for a long while.

I'm a month out and cannot do any kind of cream soup! It's awful

Just cream soups. Go figure

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm having a lot of trouble with NO foods. I can't eat tuna, yogurt, eggs, sliced turkey, ham, i get full very easily. If I drink a protein shake I'm done for the all day. I feel lost I'm at 6 weeks, bypass and I don't know what to eat.

I'm 5 weeks out & I can eat everything I used to just smaller portions. I'm never nauseated -unless I accidentally overeat & I've never vomited. I had the sleeve. The only issue I have is that I can't gulp down water like I once could. Meat has been no issue.. Though interestingly enough steamed veggies are a bit overly filling.
