Bodybugg users report here!

Hi, well, I've been reading the bodybugg reports and finally got one after not being able to lose a pound after 6 weeks. I was banded on February 13, 2007. At that time, I weighed 271.4. Six weeks ago, I weighed in at 246 and went back up to 249 due to fat loss/muscle gain. (Not complaining there) that is where I stayed until now. I wasn't depressed since I thought I was doing everything right. I was eating less and excercising more. Well, at least that is what I thought until I got the bodybugg. Pudin' was a big inspiration for that one. I've had the BB for 3 days now and I finally broke through the plateu. I'm right back to 246 with more fat loss and muscle gain. It's so exciting.

I guess I needed lapband and armband. I'm just banded everywhere. LOL!! It really is motivating to see where you are at with the numbers. Even though I was exercising my butt off, it still wasn't enough and now, I know how much more I have to exercise through the day. It's fun to see the scale going down again. Finally!!!

Anyways, I think we should log our stats for the bodybugg on here. It's really fun!!

So far, 3lb weight loss on the bodybugg/lapband from June 4-7. YEAH!!!

The bodybugg is meant to be worn on the right arm. There are sensors on the bodybugg that detect body temp and air temp and if you have it on the left arm, those sensors will be backwards. Now if you

I really want a bodybugg, but after being self pay, my husband was flip if i spent several hundred buck on this, and then the monthly fee! I was looking at them on ebay and they are bidding up really fast. Well, actually, I still may buy one, the hubby told me to just not tell him how much i paid for it!

Is there anyone out there who isnt happy with the BB? I know that the majority out there love it, just want to know the good and the bad before I shell out another couple hundred bucks.

That should read that my hubby would flip - not was flip

Hi i missed one session and they gave it back to me when I called to reschedual Coach Tamala didn't hold it against me. Maybe she can do the same for you. I hope you can work things out with the sessions. I have to get on track and start working harder since the holidays I was doing well with my bugg before christmas but at least it has kept me from gaining what I have worked so hard to lose. It is a real motivator and so is coach Tamala!!Banded june 21,07pre band 270/now 246/ goal 150can't get my ticker to post and answers Help!!!

I really need to get one of these...

Sweethot: I'd email the customer service department of Apex and complain and request forgiveness. Make up a good excuse. My counselor forgot me 2 times and I didn't get extra sessions. That's just BS, if you know what I mean. You paid enough for the Body Bugg, besides it's to their advantage for you to understand it well, so you'll use it and want to keep up your monthly subscription. Good luck! Stand up for yourself!

It's weird, my husband is wanting to lose weight and we were trying to figure out how many calories he could eat in a day and lose weight. I tried fitday.com and they estimated his calorie burn as about 5000 calories a day...but that seems way off. We were using a calculator and trying to figure out how much he burns and how long it would take him to get to a 3500 calorie deficit (burn 1 lb)...it was confusing and in the end I threw up my hands and said "You just need a bodybugg too!"

Weightloss makes so much more sense with 'the bugg.' He is now considering jumping on the bugg-wagon, too! Yay!!!!

You know this was the biggest benefit for me from the bugg. I am 6'3 man that weighed 279 and I burned at least 3000 calories doing nothing. I did nothing on purpose just to see the minimum results and by nothing I mean sitting around the house all day and getting less than 5000 steps. I am shocked at how my calories jump by just getting up and being slightly active. For example, leaving the TV off for the evening and playing with the kids in the front yard jumps me up to 3800 calories a day. The bugg helps you track all those trends.

I ordered the Bodybugg for myself and when I told my DH about how it worked he was excited and wanted one too. I have to say with both of us having one, we really do help push the other to do the walking necessary to get our steps in and calorie deficits. It's been great having someone else on the program along with me especially someone living in the same house because it makes food choices easier and we keep a "gentle" eye on the other one and help each other when we're ready to eat something we probably shouldn't. Actually I think it's more, I don't want to NOT lose and he's there as a reminder of what we're doing together.

"Santa" brought me a Bugg for Christmas! I activated it yesterday, and today is the first day I'm wearing it! Just having it on makes me want to move more! Technology is really amazing!! I keep downloading the info every couple hours, even tho I'm mostly doing deskwork... it's just too fun!!

Ya... today is the first day I am wearing my Body Bugg.... I love it... But hate the food portion. It sucks! I like Calorie Counter, Diet Tracking, Food Journal, Nutrition Facts at The Daily Plate better.......

Missy- I still use the Daily plate-I just put in a food called 100 calories into the bodybug data base and put in the number if calories I have recorded in Daily Plate. Body Bugg journaling s*cks. I complained to my coach, maybe someday they will improve it.

Now, THAT'S a great idea!!! I think I might just use that one. Thanks!:clap2:

Here are my Bodybugg Day 1 results as of 9:44pm...

Cals consumed: 800 (it was a pro shake day... 800 total cals but 130 of them were protein!!)

Cals burned: 2080 (I was in front of the computer for most of it! It was definitely a low-moving day)

Cal deficit: 1280!

Kewl!!

Tomorrow will be a different type of day, more out-&-about, so it'll be interesting to see what that breaks out to be! Lovin' it!
