Iron supplements

What kind of iron did your Dr. tell you to take post op? My multi does have it but I need extra because my values are low. I tried Vitron C but it made me sick (diarrhea and stomach pains). What form of iron is best?

    My doctor has me taking Feosol with bifera. It's in a white box with purple lettering. It's supposed to be the version that is more sensitive to your stomach. I haven't found anywhere I can just buy it on the shelf. Most places stock a different version of feosol. My pharmacist orders it in for me. Good luck!
