  1. Did you have low values before surgery? This is my issue and I have to find something to take as well?
  2. Yesterday I went for my test becuz surgery is feb 11th. I did the blood work, ekg and chest x ray. Since I work in the same hospital as my test I checked the results and my hemoglobin was low 7.9. I know at 7.0 they transfuse a person. So I told the surgeon who told me to contact my PCP, I did contact her and am waiting on a response. Has anyone had issues with their pre surgery testing or has the procedure been postponed because of other medical issues?
  3. My date is Feb 11 as well and it has been encouraging to read everyone's experience, making me feel not alone in this.
  4. I am Feb. 11th as well. I got excited when I handed in my disability papers!!!!!
  5. You are doing what is right for you. I was scheduled in December but did not go thru.
  6. I am scheduled for February 11th in New Jersey!!!
