Yesterday I went for my test becuz surgery is feb 11th. I did the blood work, ekg and chest x ray. Since I work in the same hospital as my test I checked the results and my hemoglobin was low 7.9. I know at 7.0 they transfuse a person. So I told the surgeon who told me to contact my PCP, I did contact her and am waiting on a response. Has anyone had issues with their pre surgery testing or has the procedure been postponed because of other medical issues?

Did your surgery end up post poned? I go in tomorrow for the testing and am worried my levels may be low. My surgery is scheduled for the 25th
