Hello! I'm new here...

Hi, I'm having my lap band placed 5/29/07 and I am very excited (but a little scared) I am hopping to get to know some people here who have been living the life for a wile and may have good advice.

Hi Xeiah  WOW! Tomorrow's the big day!!! Best wishes for a smooth surgery and recovery. Check in and let us know how you make out!

Hi, and welcome. Come join the May 2007 bandsters group. We've all had the surgery (or will have it) in May!

Hi and welcome! Wow, probably by this time tomorrow you will be an official bandster, congratulations! Make sure you take it easy afterwards and let everyone wait on you. Remember, this is considered major surgery and you need to rest and heal. Don't forget, the first six weeks or so are for healing, not dieting. You probably won't see significant weight loss until after you get your first couple of fills.

Good luck tomorrow. As soon as you feel up to it, check in and let us know how everything went. We will be thinking about you!

Everything went great yesterday and I feel really well today! I got out last night and I'm thrilled to be recovering at home!

I found some very yummy high protien liquid recipes and I and I'm love with sugar free popsicles!

Banded x 24hours and going strong!

I have weird leg cramps though. Any else had something of the like? I was told to walk a lot right away, but maybe I over did it?

I am predisposed to flipping out over stuff like this, is this typical.. <--- that would be aimed at the old pros...

Feeling better now, called the Dr. and they have not called me back. But I think it's all good now. No really bad signs of blood clots or anything. I am actually a medical professional myself, but my expertise is pregnancy so I'm trying to not diagnose myself as I am not qualified! lol:)

welcome welcome welcome...been there done that ... so ask if you need anything...lol
