Tomorrow at 7:30 AM my life will change forever. We have to be at the hospital at 5:45 AM ugh! It's an hour drive to get there so itcwoll e early to bed for me if I can get any sleep at all. So far the clear liquid diet today isn't bad at all but...........

In about 6 minutes I get to have some real fun with the bowel prep. Oh my!

Hi guys!! My surgery is Thursday, March 5th!! I'm so excited, however, my nerves are kicking in today!! Of course questioning can't I just diet again, it will be different this time, blah, blah, blah!! ???? Can anyone tell me how are the first few days at home? Do you just want to sleep all day? Will I be up to doing work emails at least? Thanks for your input!! ❤️❤️

I finally got my call last week. Surgery is scheduled for March 24th! I'm super excited/nervous/terrified. Lol I have to start my pre-op diet tomorrow. 3 weeks of ensure and yogurt woo hoo!

I made it through. Only problem is keeping stuff even ice down. They're thinking it's the hernia Surgery

Hope you start to feel better soon! I'm getting a hernia repaired at the same time as my sleeve as well. Sending you healing thought!

I'm still in hospital but I'm hoping to get out today before this storm comes if not I may be stuck till Friday

I got to go home yesterday! I'd been having terrible lingering gas pains and had been walking a lot, but it wasn't doing much.

I also had extreme nausea and couldn't keep anything down. I'm not even sure what I was vomiting up at this point.

But they let me go home and I had almost 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep and I feel a lot better this morning. I'm sipping slowly on a protein shake and looking forward to taking a shower in a little while.

I was able to take my regular meds this morning with a small amount of water and they stayed down. Hoping that i'm on the other side of this now....
