  1. @@natalievsg and @madmax68- I was sleeved 3/2 and left the hospital 11 pounds heavier. Yesterday I went for my 2 week post op appt. I have lost 5 pounds from the weight I was day of surgery. I said to the Dr I thought I would have lost more and he said I'm right where I should be. I guess we just have to be patient after all we didn't gain all that weight overnight.
  2. Livingstone sorry to hear it been a rough few weeks. Each day does get better. Walking helped me with the pain. I've been making my own broth and found a protein powder that's really good. It's from bariatric eating..inspire whey isolate powder. They have caramel latte, dutch chocolate cake, peanut butter cookie, peanut butter cup are just a few. They mix really smooth. Good luck
  3. Hi everyone. I was sleeved 3/2 and doing pretty good. Still a little sore where the incisions are but getting in water and protein. When I left the hospital I had gained 11 pounds. I know it was probably all the fluid they pumped into me. Now 11 days post op I'm only down 3 pounds from my weight the day of the surgery. How are the rest of you doing ?
  4. Good luck kaninag. Hope they figure out what's going in and that you are feeling better soon.
  5. Hi. Glad you are both doing better. I was also sleeved monday. Surgery was about 10:30am. I got to my room about 4pm and went for my 1st walk at 6. I only had ice chips until Tuesday until they did the leak test. Then I was able to have clear liquids. I had lots of gas pain but walked 3-5 times a day, but then had to take pain med. I was able to take a shower Tuesday. Wednesday no more pain just sore. Tylenol took care of that. I got all my fluids in and got out of the hospital about 1pm Wednesday. I haven't had any trouble getting in my water and protein shakes. I do still burp a lot while drinking and have had a headache the last two day. Have either of you had a headache?
