Am considering lap band surgery and was wondering, how often are you to see the doctor afterwards? Is it after 2 weeks, then how often after that?

Your surgeon will tell you. Mine had me come back once a month for a few months.

Mine called for 11 visits in the first year......I believe the follow up is the key to success.

I went I think it was every 4 weeks at first in the first year but that's what my Surgeon wanted , after 2 years it is every so often just to make sure everything is fine & in place.
