How many denials did you get? I'm afraid of being denied. I have no clue what the process is after the first denial.

I had 2 denials. The first was a legitimate reason and the second was basically a communication problem between the office and the insurance company. Once that was sorted out I was approved. It took about 4 months from first submission to insurance until my surgery date. Hopefully yours is quicker!

I'm really hoping to get approved the first time around. I had to switch insurance so their requirements are alittle different. I'm at a 39 BMI and they want 40 and above. I go for my last weigh in one Thursday.

Gosh I hope maybe we will have surgery around the same time! I'm January for sure!

Hurray! Nice to know you'll be buying new clothes for the new YOU and year!

Very exciting! Good luck and I hope everything goes smoothly with insurance!
