I had my surgery yesterday morning and I'm getting ready to go home. The pain isn't to bad, and I really don't have an appetite, but I'm making my self eat some of the broth and jello.

Glad urs went good. I'm on ice chips till 6 am then can have clear liquids. Last night was ruff. Got sick. But better today

My surgery was postponed until tomorrow. First there were 2 accidents and a train so I was late to the hospital by 30 minutes but the doc was running so behind, so they offered to let me be first tomorrow.

Sending up prayers for a successful surgery and speedy recovery TexasCurves! Mine went great, the pain is manageable, and I'm on broth and jello till Thursday. Then I'm on the full liquid diet of cream soups, crystal light, ect. Please keep us updated! Brokenangel84, I'm sorry you're having a ruff time, I'm also praying for your speedy recovery.

Hi there. After a six month journey to prepare, I'm scheduled for surgery on December 29th. I'll begin a 1200 calorie diet on 12/15 and a two day liquid diet on 12/27 (two days prior to surgery). How many years did weight loss top my resolution list? But this time will be different...my body will cooperate and I'll learn a new way of feeding and caring for it. I can't say I'm nervous, but I'm definitely excited. A new, healthy me in 2015. Sounds pretty wonderful.

My surgery is also December 29!!!!

My surgery is also December 29!!!!

I'm glad I have company. It looks like there are three of us for the 29th. I am so filled with emotions. It's like a roller coaster from one day to the next.

Well time is here!! I survived the two week liquid diet it wasn't as bad as I thought. Pretty scary as at times I was not that hungry. I think it's because my doctor allowed me to have vegetables and fruits. tomorrow is my surgery I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. I have to pack and have things ready. I asked for many positive thoughts and prayers sent my way as I go into surgery tomorrow December 18th. Thank you so much for all your support hope to see you in the post op forum.

Good luck Curvey!!!

RYNDAR do you have a pre-op diet? I'm starting to get really excited. I can't believe it's in less than 2 weeks.

Surgery went well on the 15th I am now home and sore... First night was ruff. Had the pukes but it was just spit coming up that hurt. But I am finally home and getting relaxed. Good luck to surgery the rest of the month. You will do well. Its the best thing ever..

Best wishes to Curvey and Angel. I hope you are up and around quickly.

Mommy- yes, i've been on the preop diet since December 1. My surgeon will only allow me to have protein shakes four times a day. From what I gather, he's pretty strict with the rules. So far it hasn't been too bad. 12 days to go. Crazy fast!

My pre-op is supposed to be 3 protein shakes and a small healthy meal BUT I had a molar extracted and have a dry socket so I've been doing 4 shakes a day.
