Nov 19th is my date. I am starting liquid diet tomorrow ????. I am ready, I have been practicing for weeks now. What I mean by practicing it is I have gone a few days without eating ( liquids only) just to see how I feel. The first day I did get a really bad headache but after that the headache went away. I did that a few times and so I think I'm really ready for the full 2 weeks. Already lost 8pds. I will be cooking for the week for my family. Big pot of chiili, spaghetti sauce, and stew. I will label everything and they are set. We had a family meeting because I need their support. The 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after are the hardest. I am determined to do this. I am nervous and scared but I am also very excited.

you have to keep me posted on how things went. I meet with the Dr on Friday. Not sure when I will start the on the liquid diet. I also have started eating smaller portions. Thinking about starting the juice diet this week.

OMG, all the commercials on TV are about food, McDonald's, Burger King, Italian food, everything is about food. It looks so good, going on day five of the liquid diet. ????

I just found out today that I've been given a date of December 16th!

So my Dr's Office changed my surgery date from November 25 to December 2

I'm scheduled 11/24. I did my barium swallow monday 11/3 the coordinator submitted my paperwork and I got my letter of approval today. Hope your comes soon to. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving.
