I'm confused it's been 11 days since my surgery and in the list the doc gave says I can eat all types of meats blended is this right

It has been10 days since my surgery and I sm still limited to yogurt, protein shakes, cottage cheese, applesauce and grits or oatmeal. I think every doctor is different, though!

I know I'm jst concerned cuz I read other comments and they say 3 months before they taste solid foods

I tried eating 3oz of ground beef and I felt jst fine

It's still amazing to me how different post op diets are. My dr is all about purée/soft foods. If I can smash it with a fork I'm good. I'd love to have cream of wheat but I'm not allowed any carbs in that sense or fruit. I have a love affair with fish so I'm good ????
