I can't eat anything

I am on full liquids and I can't get a thing down to eat. I drink fluids but not enough. I was tolerating food well. But now I can barely swallow a drink. Is anyone else going through this?

No that is strange. You said you were handling food well what type of food ? Have you contacted your surgeon. What are you feeling

I had something close. I got nausuas just looking at any thick liquids and so sick of liquids. I started changing every 8 oz. to change the flavor of the liquid.

I am confused it says you are on full liquids? What kind of food are you trying to keep down? It says you were tolerating food? Just curious what stage you are really at? How far post op are you?

I just had my surgery on the 14th of October. I was drinking soup and protein shakes. I am feeling weak. I can't get up to 1000 calories. I am barely doing 500 calories. I don't know what changed.

I was never told to focus on calories or protein grams, just alteast 24 oz clear liquid (water, broth, jello, decaf tea, crystal light) and at least 24 oz full liquids (protein shakes, sugar free pudding, Greek yogurt, tomatoe soup with skim milk). I seem to be doing this well. Maybe don't focus so much on the calories and you will find it easier...
