  3. I have fibromyalgia and I exercise but the pain is still there especially on my right side. Sleep is challenging. I have lost over 50 pounds. The pain killers help. But I work through the pain. I am tired and would rather just stay in bed. But I get up around 9am and start my day. Anyone with any ideas on this please help. I have degenerative arthritis as well.
  4. I am cold ❄ today and it's 75 degrees outside. I am no longer pretty diabetic. I still suffer from knee pain due to Army injury.

  10. I was using one ounce cup from the hospital. It was so terrible for me to use them. Now I use a straw to drink my water. I am 16 days post-op. I am having no troubles with the straws. I was told no straws ever.

  15. I just had my surgery on the 14th of October. I was drinking soup and protein shakes. I am feeling weak. I can't get up to 1000 calories. I am barely doing 500 calories. I don't know what changed.
  16. I am on full liquids and I can't get a thing down to eat. I drink fluids but not enough. I was tolerating food well. But now I can barely swallow a drink. Is anyone else going through this?
  17. I am doing well. I am on a full liquid diet. I am tolerating everything pretty good. I still take the pain meds but I have serious pain in my knees and back. This was before the surgery. I was taking pain meds for that. I feel like I am ready for puree foods. But I am just going to follow instructions. It hurts to bend or stand but the pain goes away in my abdomen. I am walking. I see my Doctor next Friday on the 24th. I hope I have lost more weight by then. It is hard to get the liquids down and get proper Protein. I suck on Popsicles to get some liquid and eat Jello. I have gotten some sleep and naps. My family is supportive and help me with cravings. Yes I feel like I can eat regular food. Not sure I am ready. Congrats to everyone!!!!
  18. Congrats on your loss of weight. Woo-hoo!!!!
  19. I was sleeved on the 14th of October. I am doing good. I drink protein shakes and do short walks. I am tolerating my meds very well. I am already for puree foods or soft mechanical. I went into the hospital with gas X strips. This helped me so much. I don't have any gas problems. I was prepared for that. My hair is not shredding except for norm. I see my Doctor on October 24th to be put on two weeks puree. Plus check my incisions. I was upset about the surgery at first but when I left the hospital. I was a new determine woman. This is my new dawn and new day and I am feeling good.
  20. I am 302 from 315. This loss was pre-op diet and post-op diet. I can't wait to see the 200s again.
  21. Got home from surgery on Thursday. I had surgery on the 14th. I am on full liquids and I am not having any problems. I had my gas strips in the hospital. Relieved all gas. Really sore and tire easily. But I take walks. Not long ones. But it gets me going in the morning. On full liquids and surprised that no stomach discomfort.
  22. I will be sleeved on October 14th. I am excited. I am now on my three day clear liquid diet.
  23. My husband who is much smaller than me expressed the same concerns. He also spoils me rotten. I told him I love him so much and leaving him is never an option.
