- Thanksgiving depression
Five weeks since having the surgery. Love the pounds I lost so far, but depressed about the oncoming of the holiday eating. I know I'm going to miss eating like I previously did. Because I have a family, I have to provide the traditional thanksgiving fest and such. Advice on how to get through this time of year without resenting getting the procedure.- Clothes after surgery
After losing 25 lbs, my clothes are loose. I know I dropped down to the next size but I'm not ready to spend money on a new wardrobe especially knowing I'm still planning on loosing a considerable amount of weight. Any advice on how to adjust my current wardrobe or obtain a new wardrobe without spending a lot of money? Or any clothing I can purchase that I could use for a longer period of time during the weight lose process, but not sweats since I work in an office environment.- Uncomfortable full feeling
Yes, the first time this happened I thought I was having a heart attack.. then I started to spit up what looked like phlegm. I have to remember that I had surgery and slow down when eating. Old habits are hard to break.. I'm so use to eating fast because I have small children and I work with 3 and 4 Yr. Olds and we are on a time crunch.- Uncomfortable full feeling
I know I can't eat the same amount of food like I used to, but even with the small amount I'm able to eat I get that uncomfortable very full feeling. Does any know how to avoid this? Or will it every go away? Any advice is greatly welcomed.- Help! Can I do this? Planning on taking only 7 days off work...
I got sleeved on a late Wednesday back to work that Monday. Just tired but no pain.- Already a failure
I was sleeved on the 14th of October. And I also feel like I'm not doing what I should be doing. I'm getting those spurs of hunger that I'm grazing. I should be on a pureed diet but I find myself eating solids. I haven't 4 any lbs in a couple of weeks. I feel like returning to my old self.- Cold all the time
I was sleeved on 10-14 and I've only lost 20 lbs since I started with the pre opt liquid diet. Is this normal? I haven't lost any lbs these last couple of weeks? Also I wasn't one to be cold I was always hot but lately I've been cold all the time. Is this normal?- October sleevers.. Where is everyone from
Las Cruces, NM 10-14-14- 2 weeks post opt
On Tuesday I'll be 2 weeks post opt. I'm so ready to get off this liquid diet. I welcome suggestions for the next phase. Soft foods.- How long before you abdomin feels normal?
I too just had surgery on October 14th. I feel great. No pain or discomfort. I only wish I could eat something solid for a change.- Pickle juice
does anyone think it's okay to drink pickle juice post opt? I'm 7 days in and very bored with this liquid diet and I'm craving salty/sour stuff. Technically pickle juice is a clear liquid.- I haven't counted calories
I'm having the exact same problem. Shakes are not doing it. I want real food!- Post opt diet
I'm 7 days post opt and I'm having a difficult time with this clef liquid diet. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to cope during these first weeks? Also I know I'm not getting all the protein I need. The shakes are not doing it for me anymore.? - Thanksgiving depression
