Pickle juice

does anyone think it's okay to drink pickle juice post opt? I'm 7 days in and very bored with this liquid diet and I'm craving salty/sour stuff. Technically pickle juice is a clear liquid.

Go for it! Just dont over do it

Lol! My niece drinks pickle juice and loves it! I would make sure to strain out any garlic or dill bits.

Doesn't pickle juice have vinegar? I would be wary of it, it is quite acidic.

I was the same way with lemon juice. I craved it for a few weeks post op. I would slice lemons and suck the juice out of them. I don't think I did myself any damage and the cravings eventually passed.

Anybody know why we crave these sour things post surgery?

It's so funny you brought this up because I always craved the salty stuff post op. So weird!
