As for actual Peanut Butter, it was never specifically banned in my program, but the nutritionist encourages PB2 because you get the flavor but not the calories.

I use PB2 in my protein shakes as mentioned above. I also eat fresh ground peanut butter as a snack with apple slices, celery or some whole wheat crackers. I started using PB2 immediately but the real PB came at about 3 months.
