  1. if I get 1000 its fine but if its under 1000 it doesn't let me close out my day right now im trying to stay under 850 calories
  2. So I was sleeved almost 6 months ago. Im only down about 51 lbs. My weight loss has never ever been fast or easy which was disappointing but im used to it. I eat high protein low fat. I also eat all organic. I get about 850 calories a day. But im questioning this because everything I have ever read says you should never go under 1000 calories or your body thinks it's starving. So im curious why we are encouraged to stay at such a low caloric intake. I cant even log on my fitness pal because it says im not getting a healthy amount of calories. Im also part of a health n wellness group n based on my weight they say I should be eating 1400 calories for a weightloss of 2 lbs a week. Im only doing almost half that n losing 1 lb a week if im lucky. Im just confused n wondering if im doing more harm than good.

  13. I have a 3yr old n 5yr old. I showed them my boo boos and that helped a lot. They sre so careful and gentle. We also started talking about it for a few weeks leading up to surgery. My surgery restrictions were no mire than 10lbs for 1 month.
  14. Im 18 days post op and im not losing weight. Im currently on purees and dont even want to try soft foods because if im not losing weight at 600 calories whats gonna happen if they go up. Im getting my protein 60-75 grams. Im drinking water 30-40 oz and Im walking 2 miles a day. I just dont understand what Im doing wrong. Ive only lost 11 pounds in 18 days. my whole life has been a struggle to lose weight and now even surgery isnt working.
  15. Ladies congrats. 25+ pounds in a month is amazing. Is that just post op loss? Im feeling so discouraged because im 8 days post op and have only lost 5 lbs
  16. I wish I had known the emotional effect. I have crying moments often even though I am so happy with my choice.
  17. I stopped pain medstge day I left the hospital. At 6 days post op I over did it vacuuming n cleaning n walking for an hour so I took a half that night. But it seems the more I move the less sore I am.
  18. I was having a hard time drinking the protein. I added a little cinnamon and it really helped the flavor oh and unsweetened hersheys cocoa to get better flavor. My nut also recommended mixing a 20 gram protein scoop with just 4 oz of skim milk. That way you get 24 oz of protein in just 4 oz. Its working. I was sleeved 10/7 and am getting 72 grams of protein a day
