The anesthesia isnt bad. They put a liquid in your Iv and.... hello 4 hrs later :) in previous surgerys I could smell and tast the anesthesia. But not this time :)

The whole experience so far has been great not much gas pain, walkings petty easy, ive just started drinking apple juice and its going good as long as I take small sips lol to big of one and it feels like my chest will explode :( have to say though that leak test was horable its tastes awful, and you have to take a couple big swallows... I stated to dry heave. Not a fun experience

Good luck, a speedy recovery. Hope to have an update on how you are doing. Prayers are with you.

Congrats Megan!! We have the same SleeveDay! I am 2 days out just like you. I came home from the hospital last night. My biggest challenges have been the gas pains I have been having. I walk and walk and walk, I put pressure on my belly with a pillow, I take deep breathes but nothing seems to want to make the gas move. Good luck with your recovery!!!!

So nice to read everyone's comments. I'm freaking out about my sleeve tomorrow! Eeek!!! But from what I've read so far, it's the best decision made by most. Btw congrats Megan! How are you feeling today?

Sweetcin - i was up and down all day with how I felt. Some moments I felt normal, but found out quickly I pushed myself to fast with some of my walking today. I was only able to take in about 16 ounces of fluids today. 8oz Protein shake and 8 oz Isopure protein juice. I'm trying to get in another 8oz before bed tonight. Other than that the only thing I can say is the best in the world is a HOT SHOWER!!!!!!!! You will love it when you finally get to take one. Good Luck tomorrow! Keep me posted on how you are doing.
