  1. @@skinnymom25 I'm in the same boat. I was sleeved on 9/8 and my stall hit at month 3 and hasn't ended yet. It's been 7 weeks since I lost anything and then this week I lost 0.6 pounds. I have several friends that went through the same thing and speaking with and knowing that eventually it kicks back in helps. And I'm the same in eating. 2 eggs or 4 oz of meat are no problem yet a 1/2 cup of tomato soup will fill me up. Your doing great, don't get discouraged just keep to the program and it will pick back up.
  2. Had my follow up on Monday - down 47lbs but more exciting is that my BMI is now down to 33! Such a huge jump I couldn't be more happier. Still having issues with reflux, my doctor put me back on omeprazole for 3 more months. If is doesn't subside I'll need another endoscopy.
  3. So I'm almost 5 weeks post surgery (sleeved on 9/8). I have experienced 2 things this week that have made me question if this was the right decision for me. 1. I moved to solid foods at the beginning of the week and I have struggled with recognizing when I am full. It doesn't feel the same as it used too. Today I had some tuna salad for lunch but as I was working at the same time I wasn't paying attention to the pace in which I was eating. Out of nowhere I was so full that I had to rush to the bathroom as everything came up. This is the first time since surgery I have gotten sick. 2. I'm not sure what affect getting sleeved is having on my husband or am I just acting like a psycho over what little food I am able to eat. Yesterday he sent me over the edge over seriously the slightest thing. I had made an omelette for dinner and was slowly working my way to the best part - the center! He downed his dinner so fast and knowing I wasn't going to eat my whole dinner asked if he could have some. Of course I say yes but guess what part he took. The center. I just stared at him. When he asked why and I told him he didn't get it. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but I'm only able to eat so much, and you go and the whole reason I made the omelette away from me? I really need someone to tell me if I'm being irrational or if he is just being insensitive to what I am going through. Anyone else out there experience either of these things?
  4. Isopure is good it has 15 grams of protein per 8oz. I also use EAS 100% whey protein powder and I mix it with unsweetened almond milk. The vanilla powder with a tbsp of powdered peanut butter (BP2 in the organic section at the grocery store) is actually really good! It's thick an take a while to drink all 8oz, usually an hour, but it's delicious

  6. I was sleeved on Monday 9/8 at 2pm. I came home Tuesday around pm. 1st day was a struggle I was only able to get in about 16oz of fluids. Greg I was running a fever of 99.9 with high blood pressure on Wednesday but after a day of rest it came down and have been fine since. Yesterday i was able to get in 32oz of Water and 52g of Protein. Each day seems easier and easier although last night I must have been tossing and turning in my sleep and woke up on my stomach this morning with a ton of pain (which is gone now since I took my pill). I am on prescription strength Prilosec - I haven't had any heartburn, but I been FULL of gas! My 1st appointment is Tuesday morning and should be returning to work by Wednesday.
  7. I think it's going to be a gradual process. Each day aim for a bit more than the day before. I also spent most of yesterday sleeping from my pain meds. This morning I took one of my pills and over the first hour I was awake i was able to intake 8oz of Water and I am feeling MUCH better today than yesterday so I'm sure I will be able to drink more today than yesterday as well. Good Luck today, you will do fine.
  8. Sweetcin - i was up and down all day with how I felt. Some moments I felt normal, but found out quickly I pushed myself to fast with some of my walking today. I was only able to take in about 16 ounces of fluids today. 8oz Protein shake and 8 oz Isopure protein juice. I'm trying to get in another 8oz before bed tonight. Other than that the only thing I can say is the best in the world is a HOT SHOWER!!!!!!!! You will love it when you finally get to take one. Good Luck tomorrow! Keep me posted on how you are doing.
  9. Congrats Megan!! We have the same SleeveDay! I am 2 days out just like you. I came home from the hospital last night. My biggest challenges have been the gas pains I have been having. I walk and walk and walk, I put pressure on my belly with a pillow, I take deep breathes but nothing seems to want to make the gas move. Good luck with your recovery!!!!
