As far as the thicker liquids go, everything I was told by my NUT and surgeon is they can't be added until week 2. How much Protein are you getting in?

I hurt for quite a while but I took liquid Extra Strength Tylenol, that was what was prescribed so I did that instead. I would deffinatley stick to liquids and hydrate like your doc said, there's plenty of time for the other stuff when your insicions heal.....

Feel better....It does get better in time....

I haven't tried Isopure drinks but it's a clear liquid with a good amount of Protein. I see a lot of people complain about the taste but you can always Water it down and add some Crystal Light to it to help with taste. It's a good way of getting in some protein while sticking to your Clear Liquids and that should help with hunger.

Tonight left me hours from my last day of liquids WHEWW!

I had three teaspoons of pudding and about 2oz of creamy mushroom soup they were both very delicious almost like a delicacy at this point! HAHAH

My stomach was growling and carrying on pretty hard I'm sure its like what is that foreign stuff? maybe I'll have a bit more just sip slow.

I think in about two days I'll be able to handle Vitamins and back to Protein add'n again. ;)

Things seem to be moving along pretty good.

I haven't had my surgery yet. Next week!! But my dr said thicker soups week three post op!! Be careful! And protein all the way.

I'm 5 days post op and the pain I have is ok. Just rest as much as you can. Continue to do the clear liquids don't want to make it thicker and possibly cause more pain. I have been craving for chicken and shrimp.

Good Luck
