September 8 Sleeves Thread

I know there are several of us on the same day, so I thought I would start a thread for us to keep in touch as we go through the process.

I'm having surgery in Dallas. On day 2 of preop diet. So far, so good. No issues to report.

    Hey Megan, no we have to drink nothing else but optifast the three weeks before surgery and from today after my last shake which I take at 7 pm only water till tomorrow morning. It probably gives my body time enough to get rid of the protein liquid in my stomach before they cut into it.

    So im up early, couldnt sleep well. Surgery is at 12pm and I get picked up by my driver at 10 to go to the hospital to get ready.

    Praying nausea isn't bad after surgery, and I'm ready to walk walk walk!

    Surgery done!! Went great only took an hour. Walking is fine but getting in and out of bed hurts. Zero nausea thank God!!!
