  1. I had my surgery this past Friday,26. I ended up in surgery for almost 5 hours because the hiatal hernia was bigger and more entailed than they thought going in...ended up staying in hospital until yesterday...everything ins on the mend. They should be able to take care of everything for you

  3. I have Aetna...submitted august 28 and approved September 2. Is 1201am, so surgery is officially 1 day away...Friday the 26th
  4. I have reactive hypoglycemia presurgery. My surgery is in 3 days. 2 sisters have had the bypass. They both can have a few bites of the sweets but anything more and they dump. I am having the bypass. I was set on the sleeve, but after talking to a lot of people including the surgeon, and research, I decided bypass was best for me

  9. I pay $289.00 every two weeks for me, my husband and son.
  10. I also went with the bypass for the same reason. I'm scheduled for the 26th-next friday. Originally had my heart set on the sleeve
  11. They called and changed my date to the 26th...I guess I just have a couple extra days to prepare

  15. 24th here...trying to read and plan...yikes
  16. I too had planned on the sleeve. I also have a huge hiatal hernia. My surgeon called me on my cell phone the other day. Explained the pros and cons of both. He really didn't want to do the sleeve, but said he would go by my wishes. After he called, I talked with my husband. I've decide to go with the bypass...I'm scheduled for the 24th. My ultimate goal is better health..my concern was also with dumping, but after thinking about gerd and if by chance my got that much worse, I didn't want to have to go thru another surgery
