  1. Talk to your dr or nutritionist. I was having the same problem and found that I wasn't getting in enough calories. I was eating around 1000 to 1200 calories a day. With my height weight and daily exercise I should have been eating 1500 to 1700 depending on how hard I worked out. So I embraced it (it was really hard to eat that much, physically and psychologically) upped my calories and the weight started falling off again. I think we spend so much time focusing on low cal diets while we're heavy that we forget that we need to adjust our lifestyle for our new bodies. Good luck! Don't give up

Who knew that in just 5 short months I could feel so amazing! This surgery has changed my life in ways I could have never imagined. I am thankful everyday to be able to say that I am actually living my life and not just existing. Down 76 pounds since surgery and went from a sIze 18/20 to a size 12. Just 30 pounds to goal!! ????

    Exercise questions

I walk on my treadmill twice a day in the morning after I eat and in the evening after dinner 7 days a week. I also do kettle bells which I love!! Lost so much muscle the first 4 weeks I'm doing whatever I can to get it back. I don't wear anything special yoga pants and a tshirt usually. Bugs in my area are not conducive to outside exercise and I'm far to busy to make it to the gym I work three jobs 13 hours a day 6 days a week.
  9. I had the same issues with food and water. Water nausea is common. I would just put enough water to coat my mouth so that it would dribble down my throat. It wasn't much but it was something. My dr put me back on full liquid diet for a week to give my stomach a break. That really helped then I skipped the puréed stage and went to soft foods. Go slow it does get better. If you can only tolerate a bite then only have one bite. I had the same issue with vitamins. I take these chewables and have no issues http://bariatricfusion.com. Hope it helps!!

    Time off work?

Take the 2 weeks. Longer if you can. You will not only need that time to heal but to also get accustom to new "eating" habits. Because you aren't hungry it's easy for an extended amount time to pass without eating or hydrating. The more time you take for you the easier it will be to establish a routine. Although it seems simple it is a surgery and you need to take care of yourself...for many of us for the first time. Take as much time as you can to prepare for the amazing new you.

Is anyone else having a hard time with water? Protein drinks go down just fine but water causes instant cramping and pressure.
