  12. Did you meet with a nutritionist before your surgery? Didn't they give you information about what you should eat?
  13. chicken breast, fish, chicken salad made with Greek yogurt, laughing cow cheese, cottage cheese, etc. There are apps and Internet sights that you can log your food onto and see what the nutritional value is I use My Fitness Pal.
  14. You look great! I had surgery 9/8. I M not suppose to eat any crackers, bread, Pasta etc. be sure you are getting at least 60 grams of Protein. And at least 64 oz of Water. If I have not gotten at least 40 g of protein by mid afternoon I have a protein shake for a snack. The "hunger"could be acid sonic your dr doesn't have you on a prescription for acid try over the counter Prilosec or chew a couple of tums when it starts. I do get hungry at times just remember to eat protein if you do get hungry. It fills you up faster and lasts longer. As for your dr, I would call them Monday. If you can't get your appt moved ask for his nurse and discuss the situation her. Good luck!

    Skin Breakdown

I too have had trouble with this . My pcp said powder will actually make it worse. The yeast feeds on the powder She prescribed Nystatin cream and said to dry off really good. This cleared it up in a few days and the cream will last a longtime if it comes back.
  16. I would chop some turkey up and add I little gravy for moisture. You would probably only eat an ounce or so but that is a better option than potatoes. I slept in a recliner or propped up on pillows in the bed for about a week I started taking Biotin before surgery for hair growth you can order it online in a chewable

Be sure you are drinking all you liquids and protein. If your Dr didn't give you Zofran or something similar for nausea call him. I found that ice water was my best liquid. It does get better. I am 41/2 weeks out and feel great. I was hungry on the full liquid and it got better with each stage. Your body and mind just has to heal and adjust. Hang in there!
  18. I am down 39 lbs. since the beginning of July. 17 lbs before surgery and 22 lbs since. I had a stall the 2nd week but steadily dropping now. A friend told me yesterday it was time to get rid of the pants I was wearing. ????
  19. You can also use the unjury chicken flavored protein. It is like Cup of Soup without noodles

  21. I am starting on the soft stag ruby there is no way I can eat enough to get in the needed protein. I scrambled 2 eggs today with some cottage cheese And could only eat 1/2. On this stage I am not suppose to drink protein drinks. Anyone else have this issue
  22. Almost done with 1 st week back to work. It has been a crazy busy week and I am ready to crash! I am doing good getting fluid and protein in. I start soft foods Sunday. I think the protein will get more challenging then. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
