Hey recent sleevers lol! My surgery is next month and I would like u guys to help me out with a list of things I should stock up on to eat when I come home after surgery so I wont have to worry later. I hear alot about jellos, broth, water, pudding, but what else? I need variety and idk about broth. I hate broth

Just make sure you have both clear Protein and full Proteins that are approved by your doctor. Just make sure those other things you are getting are sugar free.

I was not able to eat anything until 2 weeks post op, so I didn't stock up on the purée items until i was ready.

Good luck to you!!!

I was on pureed and soft foods the day I left the hospital. I stocked up on eggs, chicken and broth to add to it while puree, tuna fish, cottage cheese, sf jello, pudding, sf popsicles and beans.

first two weeks for me was sf ice pops, crystal light, water, broth n sf plain yogurt... they say cream soups are good but I couldn't keep them down.

Had my sleeve 3 weeks ago. My suggestion is go to the unjury.com site and buy a couple containers of unflavored Protein powder. Getting the protein in with out it the first week was hard. Look in your grocery store milk section for Rockin Refuel chocolate milk. Make sure it's the chocolate with high protein. It tastes close to chocolate milk and tastes better than other Protein shakes. It has 30g of protein & 9g carbs. You add a scoop of the unjury and you got 2/3rds of your protein for the day - 50g

I'm not sure how long you are on all liquids. My program was 1 week. Then I moved to purée. sugar free ice pops are my best friend. I can't drink tons so the sugar free ice Popsicles give me extra fluids & taste decent.
