Congrats on your weightloss I am down 30lbs myself n like you I work out 4xs a week. I feel great! I'm now learning to listen to my body to see when enough is enough unfortunately it's not always loud enough. Lol... learning process Loving life again and my energy is so much better than its been!
  3. Hi all I was sleeved on 6/30 and even though I was cleared for soft foods I have not been successful in keeping them down. I went to the NUT today and she wants me back on purees for another week no puking for 5 days and then to try very bland foods as acidic foods are not my friend. So back to two shakes and yogurt a day. I have my month post op tomorrow. I want to be able to eat even though I'm not so much hungry I just want some energy. Foods I have tried so far: Scrambled egg with cheese ate about half.. worked good tried to add ham the next day and no bueno 2 oz Hummus with pesto mixed in... not good 2 oz Ricotta pesto and mozz heated... not good 2oz Ground turkey and bean chili... 20 mins later no good 3oz ground turkey and zuchinni casserole... stayed down however fought the urge for like a hour No sugar added apple sauce... good All yogurts so far ... good and can eat whole container 5oz now Mashed potatoes... 20 mins later no good Roasted pepper and tomato Soup with ricotta cheese... yum taste like lasagna.. great! nectar shakes with Water or unsweetened almond/coconut milk... great 8oz 4 oz cottage cheese flavored w/ sf toffee syrup... lil scary but stayed down Bariatric Advantage shake in blender... no good too thick and airy Bariatric fusion soft chew multi Vitamins... very delish and no problems eating. Premade muscle milk... good Watermelon... good

Tiredmama I feel ya completely! I have only lost 8-10lbs since surgery (scale is playing tricks with me) n barely getting in 400 calories a day... I am walking the treadmill up to 20 mins now n I guess that's still not enough to start a loss... makes me wonder how I lost the weight I did preop :-( I know it will happen just gotta learn to have some patience. The good thing is that I have been feeling better and getting ready to go back to work!

Hi everyone... I was sleeved on 6/30 as a revisional surgery from lap band. I was banded back in 07 and did fairly well started 303 and mantained between 188 and 198 for 6 years. This last year I have had some heavy complications with the band balooned up to 241lbs which led to me being sleeved. I am very excited to have had this surgery and look forward to the journey... What a complete difference this has been. Today I am two weeks and started purees... I haven't had much success with many of the soups so I have had mixed feelings... excited to eat something with real taste and scared that nothing will sit right. Well my choice was to have a lil pack of hummus mixed with a lil pesto... ummm I am not sure this is sitting right and I barely got half of the 2oz in... I can't wait to see my doc tomorrow cause I hate the thought of living on shakes lol
