Can't Live Without It...

Is there a product you absolutely LOVE? How about sharing it with the rest of us? Not necessarily food or food related, but that's fine too.

On the other hand, have you considered investing in a pricey gadget but just can't make up your mind to part with the money? Ask LBT members for their experiences. Did it live up to its promise? Was it worth the money? Inquiring (and cheap) minds want to know!

Here's a little list to get you started....

GREAT DISCOVERIES:

Kozy Shack SF Tapioca pudding cups - 90 calories (sweetened with Splenda) that taste like 190.

Reddi Wip FF real dairy whipped topping - 5 calories per serving and so much tastier than Cool Whip

Adidas Body Wash for Women - smells CLEAN (not flowery) and rinses off easily

Any resale shop - bargains you won't believe, especially when you are changing sizes on a regular basis

chicken broth - use it when you make mashed potatoes (instead of butter or margarine), and as the base for your homemade chili, chunky soups/stews, etc

Yogurt covered Cheerios - a tasty little snack, right out of the box

Now for a question....

Has anyone bought one of those expensive Barista espresso machines like they sell at Starbucks? I am so tempted, but it's a lot of money. Do you use yours regularly, or is it too much hassle?

I don't drink coffee but my husband has an occasional cup and is a bit of a coffee snob. Formerly he would only use a Bodum press and the beans had to be imported from a specific grower in Europe and ground to the perfect size, blah blah blah. Then I bought him a Senseo, and he's still happy... and I can get the pods at Target. Much better than European mail order.

I can't live without my beautiful kids!! I can't live without their smiles and kisses. I can't live without hearing them giggle and giving them a hug to make it better when they cry.

Happy Mothers day to all you mom's out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banana :cheer2: :) :cheer2: :bounce:

I like a lot of things-- I could live without it, but I sure would miss my bath tub. A good shower is nice to have too. But my bathtub is special. Its a sok overflow tub. Its soaking goodness at its best. I put in some bath salts and get in and turn it on and I have bubbles and water and I turn on the jazz and the candles are lit.. Good times. Plus its big enough for two.

My favorite discovery has to be audiobooks. In the car, while cleaning, cooking...painting...whatever....love them!!! I even have certain ones that I keep in the car for big city driving. I know the story well enough to not really pay attention, but the voice on the tape is sooooo soothing!

Mal, my husband drools every time we see a Dyson commercial. Seriously. He loves to vacuum, which is great, but I can't justify dropping that much cash on a vacuum cleaner. Is it worth the cost?

Do you know that Dog the Bounty Hunter loves to vacuum as well? and no, I won't admit how I happen to know that.....

Absolute perfection! They are gorgeous.

Susannah

We have had a Dyson for about a year now and LOVE it! We were sick of buying a new vacuum every 12-18 months so figured it was time to spend more $$ on one and see if it lasts longer. My DH actually wanted a Kirby, but I didn't want to spend that much money on one, so we compromised on the Dyson, and so far so good (knock on wood)!

I also can't live without my:

- TIVO

- high-speed internet

- George Foreman grill

- my comfy down comforter

- my crockpot

I'm sure there are more, but these are the ones that popped in my head!

tivo, magic bullet, gym membership, chi iron (changed my life. LOL! Seriously! It feels great to have sexy hair fast all the time), ultimate meal replacement, high speed internet, SKIP HOP bag, bare minerals

and most recently, my orly nail polish, althogh I found a place in the mall to buy OPI! yay!

Evilah

PS. Did I say my chi iron? LOL!
